These courses are for A5 Advanced pilots, tandem pilots, and Instructors.

Equipment maintenance course

This course is made for all the pilots wanting to know how to maintain their equipment. This course is mandatory for tandem pilots and instructors.

The course will have a theoretical part and a practical part. You will learn how to measure the trim of the glider, calculate the life span, change lines, check lines, and check the profile of the wing. Also how to do small repairs.

In the second part, you will learn all about reserve maintenance, repacking, and installation. You will have to pack different reserves and make different installations in solo and tandem equipment.

After finishing the course, you will get the MAINTENANCE Level.

Learn how to maintain paragliding equipment on our APPI maintenance course

Our courses are high-level with a focus on active pedagogy and autonomy. You will learn as much as you can during the course. We offer double than our competition.

The course includes


  • 3 day course
  • Theory about equipment and maintenance

    Glider certification, aging, aerodynamics, materials used on a paraglider

  • Reserve maintenance theory

    Reserve materials, theory, and common problems

  • Practical part: checking the trim of a paraglider

    Preparation, tools, measuring, conclusion, adjustments

  • Practical part: Reserve packing

    Usage, revision, packing, instalation

  • The use of the equipment and tools
